Then spend your holidays this year in the presence of Devika in a nature park in the Ardens. This unique yogini from the Himalayas of Nepal will share her experience, wisdom and joy during this 5-day yoga retreat that will change your life forever.
This holiday is aimed at open-minded people looking for ways to take charge of their lives. You will get a break from daily routines and be introduced to ancient yogic techniques developed to look within to find inner balance and strength in every situation.
You will be spending 7 days in an old - yet beautiful, quiet and peaceful - farm called Ferme Jacob. This farm is the only building for miles in the National Park of Croix Scalles and makes the ideal environment to give you this real treat.
Devika will introduce you to the techniques of meditation, yogic postures & movements, breathing-techniques, self-healing, chanting, dancing and silence. A daily schedule will be made up according to the needs and levels of the group. You will be taught most techniques every day to give you a firm basis for your own practice. In between activities spare time is foreseen to make a walk in nature, read a book or take a nap.
You will wake up and go to bed early to align your inner rhythm with nature. Complete silence and darkness are required after bedtime. Needless to mention that you will be served three tasty, healthy, vegetarian meals a day to bring your body into good health and balance. You will also perform a small job (e.g. dishwashing, cleaning) every day as your Karma Yoga.
